Tom Roger’s The Man, The Myth, The Guy That Likes Slow Walks On The Beach?

PVR Wire has a great synopsis on an interview that TiVo’s CEO Tom Rogers did with the New York Times (Bugmenot) The article was published in an unusual style in that Amy Zipkin more or less transcribed Roger’s thoughts directly. In the article Roger’s talked about the start of his career and his experience leading up to being TiVo’s CEO.

Roger’s also goes on to discuss some of the challenges of balancing his family life with his career as well as some of the experience he picked up while working for General Electric. While the article doesn’t contain any juicy details about the series 3 or any new features it does offer a rare look into the softer side of what it takes to be a CEO.
