I totally agree, I haven't been able to see the graphics yet, but from what I've read on the processing power alone, it ought to be a very impressive machine, but if Sony is going to force me to buy a Blu-Ray player with the device and they won't agree to license their films to HD-DVD, then I'll never buy one. To me this isn't about how good the PS3 is vs. the Xbox 360, it's about not supporting studios who would rather punish their users then let their technology compete on it's merits alone. Having said that though, I'm much more excited about the Wii right now. Not only is it way cheaper, but everyone I know who has seen it says that it's phenomenal. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to demo it when it comes out because their controller technology looks really hot.

blu ray, may fail when it comes to movies, but when it comes to games it is an obvious choice and every system should use it, it has more storage space, and dont give me that compression tech is getting better crap, 50 gigs to 30 gigs, doesnt matter if compression is getting better, its still more space and work
