Blockbuster Total Access has turned out to be a great differentiator for the company, but Movie Gallery also has their advantages. They offer XXX films that Blockbuster won't carry and half of their stores are in rural areas that will be less prone to the digital changes that are working their way through the industry.

Movie Gallery could also reinvent themselves and launch their own online program or they may just be interested in maximizing whatever value they can squeeze out of their stores. Either way though, with a market cap that is roughly one tenth the size of Blockbuster, this restructuring could create a huge boost for them depending on nitty gritty terms of the debt.
