We live near DC, and turnaround time is about a week. This isn’t going to last. Blockbuster’s Game Pass is certainly way more expensive, but at least I don’t have to wait a week to get games.

We experienced “fastreturn” for the very first game we returned. Since then, we have yet to get a faster turnaround than a week. We live in Warren, Ohio, and there is a dist. center in PA. It shouldn’t take this long! So, I was wondering if you or anyone who reads this can tell me which post offices actually participate in this? There is no mention of this on the USPS website. And I can’t find a list of post offices that participate anywhere on the web so far… help is much appreciated! Thanks!

I’m sorry Cartman, this post was made before I tried the service. I quit after a month. Fast Return my ass, it was a 6 day turnaround time and I live in San Francisco, I will update this post and raise your concerns, but I think you are right that it’s more myth than reality.

FastReturn seems to be more myth than a reality. The USPS web site makes no mention of it or any relationship with GameFly. The local USPS had no clue what I was talking about. So…let me get this straight: GameFly tells us that they have a faster return method whereby the USPS “scans” a game and tells GameFly it is in the mail—yet GameFly can’t tell us how or where it happens and the USPS has neveer heard about it…sounds fishy.

I think it’s less expensive for me because I’m buying more then four games a year right now. When I’m not as interested in video games, I’m probably better off just buying the few gems and saving the $20 bucks. So far I’m excited because it will let me try some of the games that have been released that I wouldn’t want to buy. In the long run though, if I really like the game, I want to own it so I can go back years later and still have fun.
