		<description>Terrific piece. As a lawyer its difficult for me to say it, but piracy is the most likely method by which these restrictive practices will one day end. The music industry learned the hard way. So too will HBO. Hopefully sooner than later.

		<description>HBO is the most tight fisted DRM-loving company in the business.  Not sure why you think they would react differently than they have.  They&#039;ll be the last to embrace the digital revolution.  Personally I think these so-called movie channels are doomed, given the availability of movies thru On Demand as well as Internet Streaming on sites like Hulu or Fancast.  Why would I pay for an expensive channel like HBO if they don&#039;t have content unique to them every month of the year?  Without the Sopranos, I think HBO is in a slow death spiral, they just don&#039;t know it yet.</description>
